I was raise as a Catholic-- keeping the commandments, going to church and participating in the sacraments. This is all I knew about salvation. When I was sixteen years old, my older brother became "born again." He shared the Gospel with me by showing me in the Bible how I can be saved. I knew I was a sinner, but now I realized my good works would not measure up to God's holy standards.

I trusted in God's provision for salvation through His son Jesus Christ and had peace and assurance. Now my salvation is secure because of His holy sacrifice for my sins. I have been redeemed for eternity with Him. As God's Word is true and never changes, so is my assurance of salvation unchangeable. I am 49 years old now and God has worked great things in my life thus far. I praise Him for His faithfulness to continue this life until I see Him in His glory.
